Lorenzo Lanzi may be facing an uncertain future with the Ducati Xerox Team but the young Italian - together with Frenchman Yoann Tiberio - will at least head into the off-season with a cash prize from Pirelli.

The Pirelli prizes were awarded to the youngest riders to finish in the top ten of the Corona Extra World Superbike and World Supersport championships.

The Pirelli prizes were awarded to the youngest riders to finish in the top ten of the Corona Extra World Superbike and World Supersport championships.

24-year-old Lanzi collected the WSBK prize - consisting of a trophy and cheque for $20,000 US - by finishing eighth in the championship standings, with two podiums finishes, while 19-year-old Megabike Honda rider Tiberio claimed the WSS prize - a trophy and cheque for $15,000 US - by finishing seventh in the championship, with one victory.
