Reve: We won't be back!

Reve Red Bull squad boss Ben Atkins has again claimed that it is world superbikes or bust for his British title-winning team.

Atkins has high hopes of taking the Reve operation into the WSBK with a supply of Aprilia RSV Mille machinery direct from the Italian factory - but is still waiting for the final details of his financial package to fall into place. The lack of a full budget is now hampering preparations for the team's debut WSBK campaign, but Atkins is defiantly shunning a return to the British series he won with john Reynolds in 2001.

Atkins has already lost the services of British champion Reynolds, who switched camps to Suzuki last month in order to defend his national crown. Now the ebullient team boss faces losing his second rider, Sean Emmett, who is considering a move elsewhere in case Reeve's ambitious plans fail to reach fruition.
