Despite only completing a limited amount of laps each, all four riders - Scott Smart, Ben Wilson and Ollie Bridewell in the Superbike class and Tommy Bridewell in Superpsort - gave very promising initial feedback regarding their new bikes.

"For me personally, it was great to be back on a Superbike after such a long lay-off," declared BSB race winner Smart. "After carrying some injuries towards the end of last season, I need to get bike fit again. The weather conditions could have worked against the team but we ironed out the teething problems and we all look forward to testing in what we hope will be warmer conditions."

A further four-day test is now planned for Cartagena in Spain next week, when the team will concentrate on maximum track time ahead of the official British Superbike test at Snetterton on 18 - 19 March.

"Despite a very cold 2-degree track, we managed to run all four bikes and complete a very comprehensive 'shakedown' test across the board. We can now go into our second test in Spain knowing that we have minimal set up to do and get some valuable track time," stated team technical manager Norris Farrow.
