Rizla Suzuki's Chris Walker can't wait to get on track at Cadwell Park this coming weekend for round eleven of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship.

Cadwell Park is one of his favourite circuits thanks to its demanding twists, turns and of course the famous leap over the Mountain. Walker's hard-riding style has captured the hearts of the British public and made him the fans' favourite. He is relishing the chance to perform in front of the biggest crowd of the year at the 2.18-mile long circuit and is optimistic after his last visit to the track in 2000 saw him take top honours.

"Cadwell Park is a special place for me, I really enjoy racing there," he said, "The circuit is one of the hardest to master with everything from fast straights to hairpins and 20-foot long jumps - but that difficulty lends itself to my strengths and I love the place."

He enjoys playing to the crowd as he went on to say, "The crowd always plays a big part in the BSB races at Cadwell Park. It is a special atmosphere and I think more than any rider I am motivated by the support of the fans - the huge crowd will simply lift me and drive me to try even harder."

His team-mate, Cal Crutchlow travels to Cadwell Park on the crest of a wave after scoring his first Superbike pole position and best ever result with a fourth place at Croft earlier in the month.

"I think it is all coming together for me and Rizla Suzuki right now," explained Crutchlow, "My bike fits me like a glove and is doing exactly what I want it to and that gives me the confidence to push and challenge further up the field than ever before. Realistically my target is a podium finish before the end of the season and I think it is achievable if we can keep up the momentum. I'm enjoying my job and can't wait to get racing at Cadwell Park!"
