Dan Harper leads JTR's second 1-2 result of the weekend after clinching his first Porsche Carrera Cup GB race victory during the second race at Oulton Park.

Having started the race on pole position, Harper bounced back from his Monza mishap in the best fashion possible by winning the reverse grid race from his JTR stablemate Lewis Plato.

Harper controlled the race from the start to finish, but had to survive a late scare after taking evasive action around a struggling backmarker at the Hislops chicane.

Both Harper and Plato were forced to take to the grass as the leaders took avoiding action from the recovering 911 GT3 Cup car of Fraser Robertson.

Ultimately, Harper retained the lead and went on to win his first race in the series by just under a second.

Slidesports Engineering's Tio Ellinas strengthened his new found championship lead with another podium finish in third position, while his main title rival Dino Zamparelli recovered from an opening lap off to finish in tenth.

Zamparelli's weekend had already been compromised when a stone punctured the radiator of his 911 GT3 Cup car, which forced the Redline Racing driver into an early retirement during the Saturday race.

Race one winner Tom Wrigley finished in a comfortable fourth ahead of George Gamble in fifth.

In the Pro-Am category, Dan Vaughn took the win for Motorbase Performance in sixth place overall after narrowly holding off a late charge from Jamie Orton in seventh.

Will Bratt was eighth for IN2 Racing, while Seb Perez recovered from an earlier spin to finish ninth ahead of Zamparelli in tenth.

Peter Mangion avenged his race one defeat in the Am class to Peter Kyle-Henney by beating his rival during the second race in 12th and 13th.
