World Series by Renault race winner Miguel Molina will join the 'works' Audi team for the 2010 DTM, it has been announced.

Molina, who impressed during testing with the Audi A4 DTM, replaces Tom Kristensen, who will concentrate fully on sports car racing in the Audi R15 TDI this year.

Molina will compete in a 2008-spec car joining Mattias Ekstr?m, Oliver Jarvis, Timo Scheider and Martin Tomczyk at 'Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline'.

"For me, a dream is coming true," said the Spaniard, who at 21-years-old is the youngest Audi 'factory' driver. "Driving for Audi in the DTM is simply fantastic. Audi is a fascinating brand with superb cars and the DTM has proven to be one of the world's toughest racing series. I'll give everything to live up to the expectations placed on me."

Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich, head of Audi Motorsport, added that he has been monitoring Molina's progress for a number of years.

"Miguel is not only a charming young man, but he's very quick as well. Even two years ago he was very fast in tests with the A4 DTM. But at the age of 18 we felt that a move into the DTM would have been a bit too early for him," Ullrich explained.

"That's why I'm delighted to see that in these tests he confirmed his performance and the good impression he left before."

Meanwhile Audi also announced that Katherine Legge and Mike Rockenfeller will both change teams, with the former switching to 'Audi Sport Team Rosberg' to become Markus Winkelhock's new team-mate, while the latter will be re-united with Alexandre Premat at 'Audi Sport Team Phoenix'.
