The Renault F1 team has announced a renewal agreement with Processia Solutions, a long time official supplier to the team.

Processia Solutions specialises in the implementation of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) solutions and in advanced software development. The Canadian-based company will now continue to bring its expertise to the sectors of design, production and circuit exploitation within the Renault F1 Team.

"In smoothing communications, information transfer and data translation between these sectors, efficiency gains of up to 15 per cent are predicted in some sectors - optimising performance, and freeing valuable resources to pursue additional design and development projects," read a statement from the Enstone-based outfit.

"Competitiveness in F1 is about the ability to build a quick car, and maintain its development throughout the season," added Renault F1 managing director, Bob Bell.

"While we work our resources to full capacity, we must also be attentive to the manner in which we do this, and how we make best use of the tools available to us. Processia will help us eliminate the bottlenecks that can slow the constant quest for performance, contributing to our efficiency and productivity across the board."
