Stewards Facing Ban.

The three stewards involved in the controversial end to the British Grand Prix could be banned from officiating at future events as a result of their actions.

The three - Roger Peart, Howard Lapsley and Nazir Hoosein - have been summoned to Paris to face an FIA enquiry into the incident which saw Michael Schumacher taking victory whilst in the pit-lane serving a penalty. The series of mistakes made by the stewards led to an ongoing protest from the McLaren team after Schumacher escaped unpunished despite passing Benetton's Alex Wurz under yellow flags.

An outcome to the McLaren protest is expected next week.
