Craig Pollock and the new British American Racing F1 team today (16/7/98) announced that they have signed Jean-Christophe Boullion as their test driver.
Boullion is recognised as one of the top test drivers in Formula One said Pollock who has signed him with immediate effect, he will begin testing duties with Tyrrell and then the new Reynard F1 chassis once it is ready in the Autumn.

The F1 world now awaits for the announcement that Jacques Villeneuve will join the team for 1999, it is widely expected that the announcement will be made in August as Frank Williams is pressing Villeneuve for a decision about his future plans with Williams, as they are also in negotiation with several replacements.
