Honda Continues To Impress.

The works Honda team continued to set the pace in its first official test session, again heading the BAR team.


Jos Verstappen once more topped the times at the Spanish circuit of Jerez, leading Ricardo Zonta by over half-a-second at the end of the day. Zonta, in turn, was faster than BAR team-mate Jacques Villeneuve, despite only completing 11 laps on day two of his first outing with the team.

Rubens Barrichello showed an improvement in the Stewart team's form, posting fourth best time to head the Benetton pairing of Alex Wurz and Laurent Redon, but Johnny Herbert struggled to match his team-mate's pace with reduced running.
