Following its successful start to the 2001 season, Sauber has entered into a marketing co-operation with Temenos, a leading provider of integrated software systems for financial institutions.

The Swiss team offers its new partner access to a global marketing and communication platform, which Temenos hopes will significantly enhance the awareness of Temenos Globust - a mission critical, real-time enterprise software solution specifically designed for banks and financial services organisations.

Founded in 1993 by Mr George Koukis, chairman and CEO, and Mr Kim Goodall, vice-chairman and marketing director, Temenos has experienced rapid growth with a client base including the most prestigious names of the financial industry and growing from 19 financial institutions in 1993 to more than 270 in over 80 countries by May 2001.

Moreover, Temenos has extended geographically from two offices in 1993 to 23 offices in 18 countries in 2000, ensuring local support to its customers.

As a result, Temenos Globust has topped the international survey conducted by a software research firm, International Banking System, in each of the last three years for having licensed its software to more new clients than any other single international banking software solution provider.

By sponsoring Sauber, Temenos expects to strengthen the awareness level of the company to its clients on a worldwide basis.

"We are happy to announce a co-operation with a market leader in their field that will ideally complement our network of highly specialised partners," commented team boss Peter Sauber.
