BAR-Honda and Acer announce long-term partnership.

Lucky Strike BAR Honda and Acer have today announced a new long-term partnership, effective from this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix.

Acer will become a Corporate Partner of British American Racing and will be the Official Supplier of Computer Hardware to the team.

Established in 1976, Acer is now Europe's fifth largest mobile PC vendor. The company employs marketing and service operations across Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas, supporting dealers and distributors in over 100 countries.

Acer offers a broad spectrum of IT products and services, including mobile and desktop computers, servers and peripherals.

Commenting on the new partnership, BAR Team Principal David Richards said: "I am delighted to welcome Acer to the team as a Corporate Partner. State-of-the-art technology and its reliable application are critical in the demanding environment of Formula One. Acer will, without doubt, make a significant contribution to driving BAR to the front of the field."
