Team Sauber-Petronas have today revealed that the launch of their 2004 car, the C23, on Monday January 12 will be screened live on the world-wide-web.

Team boss Peter Sauber and his new drivers, Giancarlo Fisichella and Felipe Massa, will be presenting the new Sauber Petronas C23 at a special location: the new Hangar-7 at Salzburg Airport.

The reason for the choice of this unusual location, is the tenth anniversary of the partnership between Sauber and Red Bull - one of the longest standing partnerships in Formula 1 history.

Apart from the hundreds of motor sports VIPs who have been invited and the journalists from all over the world, the Red Bull Hangar will also witness a performance by the British band Sugababes, who have stormed the charts with their new song - Hole in the Head, and will be performing live.

The presentation of the C23 and the performance by the Sugababes will be broadcast live on the internet throughout the world: the show will begin at 12:30 pm ET on Monday, January 12 and can be seen at www.redbull.com, www.sauber-petronas.com and www.hangar-7.com. A special live web channel for the C23 on the three websites, is already broadcasting news on the upcoming event in Hangar-7.

The live broadcast of the 'take-off' of the new Sauber C23 will be able to be viewed using both conventional dial-in connections as well as broadband connections. The only technical requirement to ensure the perfect reception of the live web stream, is the installation of Macromedia Flash Player and the current version of Windows Media Player.
