Toyota: We collected lots of useful data.
Toyota test team manager, Gerd Pfeiffer has said that the Cologne based team enjoyed another 'useful and constructive' test this week, during their four-day outing at Jerez.
Speaking following the conclusion of running on Saturday, Pfeiffer warned though that they still have a lot of work to do.
"Overall, this has been a useful and constructive test," he confirmed. "We have had four days of running with four different drivers and it has given us a chance to put some mileage on the TF106 and to spend some time working on set-up with our new Bridgestone tyres.

"The cars have been reliable and we have collected a lot of useful data to help us learn what direction to take to get the best out of the rubber.
"We still have a lot of work to do over the winter but after [third driver] Ricardo [Zonta] carries out Sunday's wet tyre test we will have three more days of dry weather testing back here at Jerez next week."
Zonta meanwhile agreed that they need to do more running, especially so they can get to grips with the Bridgestone tyres, following their decision to switch.
"These two days of testing have been quite productive for me. We spent the day working on set-up with our new Bridgestone tyres. This is still very early in the learning process so we have a long way to go in order to make the most out of the new package but we have collected a lot of useful data. Sunday I will have a chance to try out the Bridgestone wet tyres for the first time on an artificially dampened track. Then I will be back here next week for the last few days of testing before Christmas," he added.
