McLaren-Mercedes driver, Juan Pablo Montoya has hit out at his team-mate Kimi Raikkonen.

The two again played hard ball at the start of the Australian Grand Prix on Sunday, similar to how they had done in Malaysia. Although no contact was made, the Colombian was less than impressed.

He was also surprised to see Kimi, who ended up second behind race winner, Fernando Alonso, set the fastest lap of the race on the final lap.

"Kimi threw his car at me in the last race in Malaysia and did it again [in Melbourne]," JPM told British tabloid newspaper The Sun.

"He was just being heroic at the end by putting the fastest lap in. It was half a second faster than any other he did. What did he gain? He was either slow or thinking about something other than driving except on the final lap."

"It's because I'm in a good position [that Kimi is trying so hard]," added Montoya. "Last year I wasn't in a position to fight him so I don't think he felt threatened by me."

To date, Montoya has scored 9 points this season, while Raikkonen has amassed 14, including two podiums. Does Kimi need to feel threatened? - the results suggest otherwise...
