Aguri takes flight with Virgin.

The Super Aguri F1 team has attracted sponsorship from Virgin Atlantic (Japan) for this weekend's Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka.

The one-race agreement, which comes about after the British-based airline teamed up with existing SAF1 sponsor All Nippon Airways, will see Virgin Atlantic branding appear on the two SA06s of Takuma Sato and Sakon Yamamoto, as well as on Sato's helmet this weekend. Sato has enjoyed personal backing from Virgin Atlantic over a three-year period, so merely extends the relationship to the team at Suzuka.

We now have only two races left in this season, but we hope that will able to show our partners performances that are worthy of their support."
