The Panasonic Toyota Racing team has confirmed a new 'official supplier' deal with fixings and assembly specialists W?rth.

"For the 2008 season, W?rth will supply tools and fasteners to Toyota Racing and the company's logo will feature in the pit garage, on team trucks and on all official communications," read a statement to the media.

"Throughout the season, W?rth will bring their expert knowledge of fixings and assembly to Panasonic Toyota Racing's F1 challenge, providing the team with high performance fixings for use on the TF108 car as well as in the pits and at the factory."

"I am very pleased to welcome W?rth as an official supplier," said Toyota Motorsport president, John Howett. "W?rth is the perfect partner for Panasonic Toyota Racing because we are both world-class companies based in Germany who are ready and willing to take on a global challenge.

"As a company we are proud to add W?rth to our roster of valued partners and we are working as hard as possible to make 2008 a memorable year for everyone connected with Panasonic Toyota Racing."

"W?rth is delighted to become an official supplier of Panasonic Toyota Racing for the 2008 season and we very much look forward to working together and strengthening our cooperation," added Dieter M?nch, W?rth's head of marketing and advertising. "W?rth's corporate culture is defined by team work, challenge and determination. These are shared by Panasonic Toyota Racing and they are also vital elements of success in F1."

The partnership with W?rth will be showcased in public for the first time at the team's pre-season launch event on January 10 in Cologne.
