Glock second F1 star on receiving end of abuse.
Following on from the racist insults directed at newly-crowned 2008 Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton in the build-up to the title-deciding Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos earlier this month, Timo Glock has found himself the latest driver to come in for abuse.
The German's Toyota outfit took a gamble on leaving him out on slick tyres in the closing stages of the 71-lap race in S?o Paulo as the rain began to fall for the second time with only a handful of tours remaining, but such was his lack of grip that Glock lost 18 seconds on the final lap alone.

That saw him cede places to both Scuderia Toro Rosso's Sebastian Vettel and Hamilton in the very dying seconds as he slipped from fourth position back to sixth - and with it enabled the latter to pip Ferrari's Felipe Massa to the drivers' crown by the narrowest margin of just a single point.
The 26-year-old was roundly booed by Brazilian fans in the Autodromo Carlos Pace grandstands afterwards, and since then Swiss publication Motorsport Aktuell reports that further abuse has been written in the guestbook on his personal website, in the form of 500 obscene messages. Amongst the insults were one comparing him to 'a Polish toilet cleaner' and another wishing him to lose a leg in an accident.
Those who wrote racist slurs about Hamilton - the sport's first-ever black world champion - were unanimously condemned in both the international racing and wider political world.
Official F1 timing showed that Glock's Toyota team-mate Jarno Trulli - who similarly stayed out on dry rubber as the grand prix neared its conclusion - lost an almost identical amount of time on the final lap.
