Ultimate targets Brands Hatch podium.

Ultimate Motorsport team manager Andy Richardson says he is hopeful that the Mygale outfit can repeat its strong 2007 form as the British F3 International Series heads to Brands Hatch this weekend for the latest round of the season.

Michael Devaney gave the team, and the Mygale chassis, its best result on the famous Grand Prix circuit last year, scoring two points finishes and an excellent fourth place in the teams debut season in the series.

The Irish driver has since gone on to open Mygale's win account in the series thanks to his double victory at Snetterton earlier in the year and will hope to add to his victory tally to maintain his championship hopes, while team-mates Alastair Jackson and Ricardo Teixeira will look to join Devaney inside the points come race day.

"Brands Hatch is quite a complex circuit, where the smallest misunderstanding about the correct driving technique can be costly," Richardson said. "For us, it's all about trying to get the best out of the car and our package of young drivers. It's something that we managed last year, so I'm hopeful that we can do it again. Michael should be aiming for the podium, and we'd like to target a top 10 finish for Alastair and Ricardo."
