James Toseland will swap his Tech 3 Yamaha for a Grand Piano later this month when he takes to the stage at Donington Park as part of a MotoGP pre-season send off gig.

Following a similarly successful event in 2008, Toseland will once again be tickling the ivories with his band Crash at Donington Park's Paddock Suite on February 21st ahead of his second season in the championship.

The gig comes after Toseland made an appearance at the indig02 event, held at London's 02 Arena, where Crash opened an exclusive evening of live music from artists including Queen drummer Roger Taylor, Wizard's Roy Wood and Graham Goulden of 10cc.

He also joined Fabbagirls - the world's leading Abba tribute band - who will now return the favour by providing backing vocals and a 'notoriously raunchy' act for Crash's set.

After the performance, James will meet with fans to sign autographs and chat about the season ahead.

"I'm really looking forward to the send-off party," he said. "Last year's event was fantastic and it gave me a huge boost ahead of my first season in MotoGP. The party will be a good opportunity for me to thank all of the fans for their continued support."
