The Camier family are selling their family home in order to finance 16-year-old Leon Camier's 125cc grand prix campaign this year.

The teenager from Kent will ride a Honda for the Italian-based Racing Service Team in his first full season of grand prix racing but with no sponsorship deals forthcoming they have put their converted barn up for sale.

"Some people probably think we are mad but we've thought about it and we can't stop Leon's career," explained his father, ex-racer Dave. "The only way ahead for him is to ride in the World Championship after becoming the youngest-ever British Champion just two years ago. Camier won the British 125cc Championship in 2000 when he was just 15-years-old.
