Mission accomplished for top Yamaha Nakano.

D'Ant?n Yamaha star Shinya Nakano finished an impressive fifth fastest in the final qualifying session for the Africa's GP, having been as high as third heading into the final minute.

During that time, Biaggi then Capirossi consigned him to fifth, although only 0.370secs from the pole position of Sete Gibernau. That gave Nakano the humour of being top Yamaha, even though his machine doesn't have all the parts available to Carlos Checa and Alex Barros.
