Moriwaki return at Motegi, plan full 2004 season.

Moriwaki Engineering Ltd. have officially announced they will be entering the Motegi round of the 2003 MotoGP championship, as wild-cards, with rider Tamaki Serizawa.

As at the season opening Suzuka round, Moriwaki Racing will be running their own hybrid racer - the MD211VF (Moriwaki Dream 211V Fighter) - which combines a Honda RC211V engine with their own chassis.

Moriwaki also state that they intend to campaign a full season in 2004, and will be viewing the Motegi outing as a chance to measure themselves against the GP pace setters.

"We experienced a drastic improvement in the Motegi test a few weeks ago," revealed Mamoru Moriwaki. "It proved that the development work carried out after a previous test is heading in the right direction.

"Looking at the project as a whole, there is still a lot to be done before it is ready, yet we will keep on trying to improve before the Pacific Grand-Prix," he added. "The challenge is for us to appear in the 2004 series and we are looking forward to the race."
