Having been forced to delay his 2005 title winning-celebrations after crashing out at Motegi, Valentino Rossi will head for this weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix needing to finish fourth or better to wrap up the crown.

Rossi crashed out after hitting the back of third placed Marco Melandri midway through the Japanese Grand Prix, his exit not only disappointing himself and Yamaha - but also his fan club, who were ready to help with the latest in a list of legendary celebrations if Rossi secured the title.

Rossi crashed out after hitting the back of third placed Marco Melandri midway through the Japanese Grand Prix, his exit not only disappointing himself and Yamaha - but also his fan club, who were ready to help with the latest in a list of legendary celebrations if Rossi secured the title.

That celebration has now been put on ice but, barring another 'incident', will almost certainly be seen this Sunday in Sepang - although any wording may have to be modified...

Max Biaggi is now the only rider standing between Rossi and his seventh world title, but the Roman will need to score 14-points more than his compatriot to prevent Rossi winning the title this weekend.
