Ahead of next week's rescheduled final pre-season MotoE test, at Valencia, the Aspar team has presented its 2019 livery for Nico Terol and María Herrera.

The team has secured title sponsorship from Openbank, the Santander Group's digital bank, for the opening two seasons of the new electric bike World Cup.

"We are delighted to be part of the new MotoE competition, a format that is committed towards a sustainable future in which technology plays a key role," said Ezequiel Szafir, CEO of Openbank.

"The electric motorcycle championship and Openbank share the same values and vision of the future," added team CEO Jorge Martínez 'Aspar'. "We will meet the challenge together with two great riders of the calibre of Nico Terol and María Herrera. It is wonderful to be able to count on your support and we will work to turn this relationship into a long-term project."

The rescheduled inaugural MotoE calendar, following extensive fire damage at the Jerez test, will see the first race held during the German MotoGP at Sachsenring in July.

The six-race season, featuring 18 riders using identical Energica bikes, will end at Valencia in November.
