Globally renowned jeans manufacturer Lee Jeans will provide primary sponsorship for the #51 Competitive Edge Motorsports Chevrolet this weekend at the Dover International Speedway, marking a coup for the first year, part-time team.

Veteran driver Tony Raines will attempt to qualify the Joe Auer owned machine for Sunday's MBNA America 400 after Hurricane Ivan prevented the team from making a qualifying attempt last weekend at New Hampshire.

Lee Jeans have been in business since 1989 and their presence on such a young team provides further evidence that businesses are once again looking towards NASCAR as an advertising partner.

Raines has made one start for Competitive Edge thus far in 2004, starting 33rd and finishing 39th in the Sharpie 500 at Bristol. The #51 team have attempted to qualify for 12 races so far this year, qualifying six times.
