Kyle Busch and sponsor Mars Inc. has signed a multi-year agreement to remain with Joe Gibbs Racing in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.

The timeframe of the extension was not disclosed, which is common in NASCAR. Busch and Mars Inc. joined JGR in 2008.  Busch has scored all but 4 of his 51 series wins with JGR along with the series championship in 2015.

The sponsorship has included liveries sporting many of Mars Inc.’s brands including M&Ms candies, Snickers, Skittles and Pedigree.

Busch, who competed in his 500th race in the top level of NASCAR last weekend in Atlanta, was thrilled about today’s announcement.

“I’m proud and honored to continue to compete for Joe Gibbs Racing and Mars,” Busch said in a statement. “Racing for more than a decade with such an iconic team and sponsor has been incredible, and knowing that we can continue this winning relationship is very special.”

Joe Gibbs, team owner of JGR, echoed his driver’s sentiments.

“Since the start of our partnership together in 2008, our relationship has been strong,” said Gibbs. “As a team owner, the hope is to find partners and drivers that help us grow as an organization, and Kyle Busch and Mars, Incorporated have done exactly that. We have one of the longest partnerships in all of sports, and that really speaks to the strength of the understanding and respect we have for one another.”
