Wiltshire bids emotional farewell.

Despite rain cutting the his farewell meeting short, a large crowd of people turned out to show their appreciation of the legend that is Todd Wiltshire at Oxford Stadium last night.

It did appear as if all would be fine as the rain seemed to be staying away however it started to fall slowly after heat three and got progressively worse forcing the meeting to be abandoned after heat twelve. Mikael Max was declared the winner with nine points, Wiltshire was second with eight and Sam Ermolenko third with seven.

Todd Wiltshire then bid the Oxford public an emotion charged farewell and in the auction that followed a further two thousand pounds was raised.

Oxford have also acted quickly to arrange their remaining Academy fixtures. Buxton and Carmarthen are the visitors to Sandy Lane next Wednesday evening and next Friday will see a double header against Mildenhall with the Knockout Cup semi final and the final Conference League meeting of the season being held.
