Belle Vue have parted company with Californian Josh Larsen and are looking for a replacement. Larsen is back in his home country and Aces boss John Perrin is angry about speculation that he still owes the rider money.

Perrin said: "Larsen has had everything he is entitled to. He decided to go home. I've heard so much rubbish about this from people who are nothing more than anoraks."

Larsen, absent from the UK scene for a number of seasons, was handed a chance to re-establish a once promising career by the Aces arriving from the States only last month.

Now it appears all to have turned sour and it remains to be seen whether or not the not-untalented American may be tempted back by another Elite League club.
