Ginetta has formally unveiled its new LMP1 car ahead of its debut in the FIA World Endurance Championship's premier class in 2018.

Ginetta announced last January it would be developing an LMP1 chassis to race in the WEC from 2018, with the departure of Porsche and arrival of a number of new privateer teams in the category leading to a number of orders being placed with the British manufacturer.

Ginetta will supply its LMP1 chassis to at least two teams for the 2018-19 'super season', starting with May's 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, and formally revealed the car - called the G60-LT-P1 - in an unveiling in Birmingham on Thursday.

The manufacturer lifted the covers off its new runner with the Manor team, which will step up from LMP2 to LMP1 for the new campaign and work in conjunction with Ginetta.
