Burns joins Peugeot.

Ricard Burns will drive for Peugeot next year in the FIA World Rally Championship according to reports by the BBC.

Burns who leaves Subaru has signed a two-year deal that will see him team up with Marcus Gronholm. The third works Peugeot entry will be shared by Gilles Panizzi and Harri Rovanpera.

Burns' decision to join Peugeot follows yesterday's announcement by Subaru that they have signed Tommi Makinen to head the teams challenge in 2002 and 2003.
