Loix to compete in Swedish Rally.
The Hyundai Castrol World Rally team have confirmed that Freddy Loix will compete in this weekend's Swedish Rally.
Loix's participation had been in doubt following a crash on the opening day of the Rallye Monte Carlo [18th January], which left him with a fracture on his left foot on the medial ankle.
Hyundai have released the following statement:
"Freddy Loix covered 50 kilometres testing the Accent WRC? on Sunday 27 January. He adapted well to the pedals of the car, which were modified to suitably support his left foot and experienced no discomfort."
