Sainz escapes test crash.

Ford Rallye Sport driver Carlos Sainz wrote off his Ford Focus WRC yesterday [Tuesday] during a pre-Swedish Rally test.

Sainz and his co-driver Luis Moya were both uninjured in the incident reportedly caused when an elk darted in front of the Ford Focus WRC while testing on snow covered roads near Karlstad - Rally HQ.

The accident left the car un-driveable and the extensive damaged bent the roll cage and the roof.
