91 cars on Acropolis entry list - no Galli.

The organisers of the Acropolis Rally confirmed the full entry list for their event this week - and while it includes the usual stars, one notable name missing is Gigi Galli.

The Italian, who finished on the podium for the first time in Argentina at the weekend, has competed in the last two events with a Pirelli-backed Peugeot 307 and while he is also down to compete in Sardinia with the same car he will not make the trip to Greece.

In total 91 crews are due to part in the event, the most entered for any single round this season - Sardinia is due to be the next best with 81 set to line up for that event in three weeks time.

Like in Sardinia, all three manufacturer two teams will be present - namely the OMV Peugeot Norway WRT, Stobart VK and Red Bull Skoda. In addition nine other drivers will take part in WRC cars - including Daniel Sordo, Francois Duval and Toni Gardemeister, who is due to compete in a Astra run Xsara WRC - bringing the total number of WRC cars entered to 21.

In the Production WRC the competition promises to be intense, with 15 of the 16 drivers contesting the series opting to compete in Greece - only the final round in New Zealand will have as strong a turn out. Current championship leader, Nasser Al-Attiyah will be one of the pre-event favourites, along with the likes of reigning champion, Toshi Arai, Marcos Ligato and Sebastian Beltran. Britain's David Higgins should also be up there, while Fumio Nutahara is the one driver who won't be contesting this round.

There will over 40 locals taking part, most noticeably Aris Vovos in a Subaru Impreza S11 WRC.

The full provisional entry list, which has still to be approved by the FIA, is as follows:
