A raft of motorsport stars have backed a new 'Paint It Orange' campaign to commemorate the tenth anniversary of Richard Burns' World Rally Championship title win.

The new campaign aims to raise funds for the Richard Burns Foundation, which is keen to see a 'sea of orange' cheering drivers on during the final round of the WRC season in Wales next month.

Sebastien Loeb, Sebastien Ogier, Mikko Hirvonen, Jari-Matti Latvala, Kris Meeke and Dani Sordo are amongst those WRC drivers to have helped launch the campaign with a number of F1 drivers pledging to support the campaign this weekend in India.

As well as seeing motorsport stars wearing the new t-shirts, fans are encouraged to post photos of themselves on the Richard Burns Foundation Facebook page.

"It's staggering how many famous people are pulling these great orange t-shirts over their heads and inspiring the public to buy one too, especially if they are heading to Wales in a few weeks time," Richard Burns Foundation patron and double BTCC title winner Jason Plato said. "I confidently predict the valleys will be painted orange - it's a great way to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Richard's greatest achievement."

Funds raised from sales of the 'Paint It Orange' t-shirts - which can be purchased HERE - will go towards assisting people suffering from neurological injury and illnesses in the UK.
