Twelve Junior WRC entrants confirmed for 2014

Twelve competitors to battle it out for 2014 FIA Junior WRC title and the prize WRC2 Citroen DS3 R5 drive for 2015

The FIA has received twelve registrations for the 2014 FIA Junior WRC / WRC 3 Championship for two-wheel drive cars, it has been revealed.

Driving Citroen DS3 R3s, the competitors will fight it out over six rounds to try and add their name to the list of winners inaugurated by WRC legend Sebastien Loeb, who won the title in 2001 in a Citroen Saxo Super 1600.

The 2014 FIA Junior WRC champion will win a WRC2 programme for 2015 in a Citroen DS3 R5.

The Junior WRC kicks-off next month with Rally de Portugal.
