<I>Foggy's Planet Riding</I> magazine launched.

Carl Fogarty has launched his new publication, Foggy's Planet Riding, which is described as 'the most comprehensive publication ever dedicated to the art, science and enjoyment of riding - on road, off road and on track'.

The 132-page glossy magazine puts a new spin on the traditional motorcycle mag formula, by focussing on riding techniques and related topics - leaving bike and product tests, news items and sports coverage etc to the variety of bike mags already on the market.

The magazine draws on expertise and experience from various related disciplines, hence it features contributors such as former F1 and IndyCar World Champion, Nigel Mansell, alongside respected motorcycle journalists Andy Ibbott, Chris Moss and, of course, contributions from the Foggy Petronas Racing boss himself.

"Bikes have been a part of my life since I was 11, but although I have ridden countless thousands of miles on tracks around the world, I'm the first to admit that my knowledge of road riding is fairly limited," said Carl. "However, what little experience I have has shown me that riding in day-to-day traffic can be far more dangerous than fighting for first place on the track.

"With the launch of the new Foggy FP1 road bike going hand in hand with my Foggy Petronas Racing team project, I'm now more involved with road riding than at any other time in my career, which is why I'm delighted to be launching this exciting new magazine," he added.
