MV Agusta's racing return in WSTK.

Sources close to Crash.net have indicated that MV Agusta will be making a return to racing in World Super Stock in 2005.

The GiMotors team are tipped to run the Union Bike sponsored effort and will have factory help from MV as they contest the latest F4 1000cc from the Italian manufacturer on the world stage.

The GiMotors team are tipped to run the Union Bike sponsored effort and will have factory help from MV as they contest the latest F4 1000cc from the Italian manufacturer on the world stage.

The bike itself was developed in the World Endurance championship by, among others, BSB, WSBK and MotoGP rider James Ellison, so therefore should be competitive against the other four-cylinder stock machines.

The team are yet to announce the rider who will pilot the exclusive machine in World Superstock, in direct competition against the worlds main manufacturers.

The source also indicated that the GiMotors team will compete an MV Agusta in the European Superstock championship, possibly with the young Australian Damien Cudlin.
