Pata Yamaha rider Toprak Razgatlioglu has continued his good form on day two of the Misano test, as he tops the morning session ahead of Scott Redding and Michael Ruben-Rinaldi.

The Turkish rider was fastest on day one, where he went five tenths quicker than the race lap record set in 2015.

Razgatlioglu posted a best time of 1m 34.305s aboard his Yamaha YZF-R1, which came just over an hour into the session.

The 24 year-old is continuing to develop new parts for the team, with the focus directed towards a new fairing along with Brembo front brake calipers which he first tested at Jerez in November.

Redding was the first rider to try the new Brembo calipers at the test and was once again second to Razgatlioglu.

Yesterday was very much a development of new parts type of day for Redding, while the second day has so far been about getting a feeling for the bike more consistently.

On the opening shakedown day, Redding said that the initial feeling with the new calipers was good, but hard to tell how effective they were in the cooler temperatures.

Continuing to impress so far has been his team-mate Rinaldi, who closed out the first session less than five thousands of a second behind the 2019 BSB champion.

Fourth was the second best placed Yamaha in Garrett Gerloff, who has made some big steps overnight to be just two tenths down on Razgatlioglu.

Andrea Locatelli is adapting well to the Superbike class so far and is not far behind the American in fifth, while the final Yamaha riders Kohta Nozane and Christophe Ponsson are ninth and tenth respectively.

Times have been extremely quick once again at the half-way stage on day three which included three red flags in only a few hours.
