PTR Romania to debut at Donington Park

Robert Muresan will ride a PTR Romania Honda during the second round of the World Supersport Championship at Donington Park.

Performance Technical Racing will have a third affiliated Honda team on the grid for the second round of the World Supersport Championship at Donington Park following a wild-card entry from PTR Romania.

The Bucharest-based team was first announced back in December after entering into a partnership with PTR - which runs under the Parkalgar Honda banner -, though a later revelation that the British outfit would join forces with Bogdanka cast doubts on the operation.

Nonetheless, PTR Romania will be present alongside both Parkalgar and Bogdanka PTR at Donington Park with a single CBR600RR for Romanian racer Robert Muresan.

Though entered as a wild-card, PTR Romania is expected to make further appearances this season with Muresan and possibly also Cazacu Catalin.

Muresan, together with fellow wild-card Jack Kennedy, brings the WSS grid numbers up to 30.
