Steve Brogan has revealed he has broken his fibula following his high-speed accident during the British Superbike Championship round at Snetterton.

Brogan was originally suspected to have sustained only a shoulder injury in the shunt, prompted when he fell on spilled oil from Alex Lowes's MSS Colchester Kawasaki

However, the Jentin Honda rider took to his Twitter account to inform that X-Rays have shown a break in his fibula too, writing, 'thought I was ok for Oulton until I found my fibula is snapped, after an x ray. Gutted. Brands now'.

The accident also involved Simon Andrews, the PR Kawasaki rider suffering a serious leg fracture.
