Former Pr1mo Kawasaki team manager Dan Cheevers has been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine.

Mr Cheevers (45), of Troon Crescent, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire and three other men were remanded in custody at Westminster Magistrates Court on Saturday and are due to appear at Southwark Crown Court on April 5.

The four were arrested by police following the seizure of more than ?1.5m of cocaine and around ?200,000 in cash during a drugs raid.

Joseph McCory (47), of Northumberland Avenue in Welling and John Reed (64), of Capstan Way in Southwark were charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and money laundering.

Robert Greenhill (61), of Park Mead, Sidcup was charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine.

The arrests were made at a haulage firm in Northampton, where 11 kilos of cocaine and ?170,000 in cash were seized.

A further five arrests followed and ?30,000 was seized in searches across south London. Four others - two men aged 56 and 41 and women aged 25 and 38 - were arrested and have been bailed until March.
