GBmoto has confirmed that Lloyds British will continue to provide title backing for its 2014 MCE British Superbike Championship bid as it makes the switch from Honda to Kawasaki machinery.

The firm, which enters its third season in the BSB top flight, heads into 2014 high in confidence having purchased a pair of factory-supported Kawasaki ZX-10Rs and signed experienced series race winners James Ellison and Chris Walker to its fold.

With Lloyds British staying on board to provide important title backing for the burgeoning team, manager Mark Smith-Halvorsen is optimistic he has the set-up now to challenge at the pinnacle of the competitive series.

"We have moved ourselves into the right place to really feature in the Championship now, by changing manufacturers and signing two winning riders that boast BSB, WSB, World Supersport and MotoGP experience between them.

"We have added to our technical team, but also made sure that the same core people that performed so well last year, are with us for this campaign. That consistency, as well as the fantastic support and encouragement we have from Lloyds British really help us, whilst we prepare for a season, where winning races and regularly standing on podiums are amongst our goals.

"Lloyds British, their staff and their guests show us nothing but loyalty and encouragement and we want to repay that with the results they deserve."
