Padgett to run Coates in BSB.

Veteran team owner Clive Padgett expects to field former grand prix racer Adrian Coates in the British Superbike Championship this season, after agreeing a deal to continue a relationship forged in 2001.

Ulsterman Coates, who was forced to suspend his dreams of MotoGP glory when he was unable to raise sufficient funds to continue in the GP250 class, returned to Britain last year to scoop the national class title aboard a Padgett's run Honda. Impressed with his form, the team now hopes to be able to repeat the achievement in the premier British class.
