Team manager Clive Padgett said: "We're really looking forward to running Jamie and Phil at Silverstone. With their previous experience on the Suzuki the team should be able to make a lot of progress with the bikes over the weekend."

"It's an excellent opportunity to start the year on a bike I'm familiar with," said Jamie Morley, on loan from Ray Stringer's recently established IFC Ducati BSB team, "and with Clive's ability to get the most out of the team, I think we could surprise a few people."

"Having ridden the Padgett's Kawasaki at the Brands Hatch WSB round in 1997, I know they can build a good bike. I was faster than the factory Kawasaki's through the speed traps that weekend!" added Leicester-born Giles.

Official team riders Marty Nutt and Adrian Coates continue their efforts to regain full fitness. Nutt is expected to be back in time for Brands Hatch on April 14th, whilst Coates is working hard to make the Knockhill round in July.
