FS-3 Racing to make BSB debut in 2016

FS-3 Racing will make its BSB debut in 2016 with Superstock podium winner James East riding an ex-PBM Kawasaki.

The British Superbike Championship will welcome an all-new team to the grid in 2016 following the confirmation at FS-3 Racing will enter a Kawasaki entry for James East.

Helmed by businessman Nigel Snook, the newly-created FS-3 Racing team has taken delivery of the ex-PBM Kawasaki ZX-10Rs piloted by Shane Byrne and Stuart Easton in 2015, with Ducati TriOptions front runner Darren Fry coming on board to take on a senior role.

East will step up from the National Superstock 1000 series after finishing sixth overall in the 2015 standings, picking up a pair of podiums on the way, with Snook confident he will acquit himself well.

"The team's philosophy is to bring on new talent and with that in mind we have James East joining us for 2016," he said. "He is a superbike rookie and we are giving him the opportunity to progress. We are now looking forward to the start of next year, when we will be announcing further details about the team and our plans for our new venture."
