GR Motorsport, has long been an active team amongst premier-classes of the British, European and World Championships, running riders such as Dean Thomas, Steve Plater and Karl Harris.

Harris won the 1999 European Superstock Championship with the team, who then, along with Harris, joined forces with Suzuki Italia for the 2000 World Supersport championship.

The team moved into the 125 class in 2002 when they started to help Lisa Thorne in the club and lower National racing championships. As Thorne's performance improved, GRM focused on a return to the British Championship.

In 2004, with new title sponsor Nvidia, GRM ran 3 riders in the 125 category - taking a win at Knockhill and points' scoring finishes at many other races.

"It has been a very hard season for the team but the bikes have always been very fast topping the speed trap times time and again and technically much better than 97% of the other bikes out there," claimed team manager Brent Gladwin.

"We will retain some involvement in the tiddlers but as always a team looks forward - we all have ambitions, so all our current equipment must go as we look to change manufacturer," concluded Gladwin.

Team Nvidia are currently putting together plans to see if a British Superbike campaign in 2005 would be possible.

If you are interested in purchasing one of the three 125 bikes or any of the spares please contact Brent on brent@grmotosport.co.uk, Crash.net will also be testing Lisa Thorne's 125 Nvidia machine in the near future.
