Chipped bone will not stop Kiyo, concussion might.

HM Plant Honda rider Ryuichi Kiyonari sustained a chipped bone in his right leg - as well as concussion - following his massive accident at Mallory Park on Sunday.

However, if a MRI scan tomorrow proves him fit to race, he will ignore the pain from the chipped bone - despite requiring a removable cast and crutches - and continue in his BSB championship title chase.

The young Japanese rider has to be cleared to race by a neurosurgeon tomorrow after a MRI scan to evaluate whether there is any lasting damage from his head injury sustained at the weekend.

Kiyo will be joined at the hospital by Sendo Kawasaki rider Steve Plater who will also be receiving a MRI scan after being knocked out at the weekend.

Find out first here if the pair will be racing at Oulton Park on may 2nd...
