Pete Spalding made history at Brands Hatch on Sunday when he maintained a perfect 100% win record throughout the twelve-round British Supersport Cup season.

The 19-year-old Honda rider capped his dream season by finished an excellent sixth overall in the Brands Supersport race - ten places ahead of next nearest Cup rival, and championship runner-up, Aaron Walker. However, Spalding's best overall finish of the season was even better - a fourth place, just two seconds behind 2005 champion Leon Camier, at Croft.

"I'm over the moon with the way things have gone this season," said Spalding. "The Centurion Team are fantastic and have helped me so much this year. I would like to thank everyone involved, the full team, my family and friends who have supported me over the last few years. I can't wait for next season where I will be running with Centurion again but in the main Supersport Class."

"I'd like to back up Pete's comments and thank everyone but I would also like to congratulate Pete on such a fantastic performance this year," said team manager Gary Stubbington. "He's consistently run well and has finished in the overall Supersport Championship in joint 11th place which is a brilliant achievement for us all and gives us all a good indication for next season."
