Liam Delves has become the latest rookie to join BSB after Rapid CHD Racing announced his addition alongside Josh Owens for 2022.

The 21 year-old will step-up to British Superbikes after competing in the 2021 Pirelli Junior Superstock Championship.

Delves’ addition to the Rapid CDH Racing outfit also means the team is expanding from a one-rder line-up to two after Owens was the lone BSB rider in 2021.

"I'm really looking forward to stepping up to the Superbike class as this has always been a dream of mine. I can't thank Dean [Hipwell] and the team enough for believing in me and giving me this opportunity," said Delves.

"I'm really looking forward to testing and getting the season underway. I know it's not going to be easy, but I will put in everything on and off track.

"I just want to say a massive thank you to all my personal sponsors for not only believing in me, but for getting me here, also to my family, friends and followers for all their support."

In other rider signing news, Supersport stalwarts Gearlink Kawasaki have announced their 2022 line-up of Eunan McGlinchey and series rookie Zak Corderoy.

McGlinchey finished last season 6th in the championship after claiming two podiums, while Cordeloy steps up to replace Ben Currie who has moved across to World Supersport after finishing runner-up to Jack Kennedy.

After being retained by the team, McGlinchey said: "I am really pleased to be back with Gearlink for the 2022 season, after all the hard work we put in last year, it is great that it won’t be wasted.

"We come back with more knowledge and knowing what I need to feel confident on the bike, so I feel that I can build on my sixth place finish this year.

"I want to say a massive thanks to Michael and Gearlink for this opportunity and for all my personal sponsors for sticking by me. Let’s go get it!"
